Mathematical Instruments Case With Part Set.

Vintage black enamelled metal case for The Ajax Set of Mathematical Instruments dating to around the early / mid 20th century.

The case has a hinge opening lid with push button closure and an internal pivoting retainer for rulers / pencils etc.

Included with the case are 2 contemporary painted metal set squares, a similar metal protractor and a perspex protractor.

Measurements: Approx 6.50 Inches x 3.25 Inches x 0.75 Inches (17 cms x 8 cms x 2 cms).

Pre-owned
The case has some age related oxidation overall - mainly to the underside - see photos.
A former scholar / owner has scratched his/her name and address onto the lid together with the partially indisinct name of his/her Scottish high School

Although in a well used condition the case is still sturdy and serviceable.

The part instrument set is similarly well used with surface scrathing and ink staining.

Would make a nice addition to a collection of old school artifacts or authentic props for stage / media/ display.
