Reticule Purse With Ribbed Brass Beads Gold Thread-Georgian

Reticule Purse - Antique Costume Accessory.

Interesting antique reticule dating to circa early 19th century - or perhaps late 18th century. 

There are no straps or loops or signs of having had any.
The blue material is lightweight and feels a little like velvet but does not have a long pile. It is decorated with what look like very fine metal / brass beads which have been ribbed. These are not as heavy as one would think for brass - unless they are metal coated with gilt?
The lining is also interesting.
It appears very narrow and a lot smaller than the reticule itself.
There is a gold coloured woven selvage down one side. This is doubled where the material has been joined joined - so it would seem that the opposing side would have been two raw edges sewn together.(?) There is a loose cotton here which collaborates this theory.  
The lining feels a little springy and is woven with gold thread and possibly silver silk thread. 
The gold threads are long and curly!  

Would make a nice display / practical piece, or authentic period prop for theatre / display.
