Large linen teacosy decorated with a cottage & garden design embroidery & drawnwork.
The design has been worked in tiny cross stitches with a stylised wide border of drawnwork. 
This is further enhanced by an outer edging of narrow lace.

Measures approx. 15" x 11.25"

Would make a nice display / practical piece, or authentic period theatre prop

Previously owned and used
In very good crisp condition with no damage to the linen itself. 
There are a few small areas of the seam that have come adrift and need to be tucked back in and re-connected with a few stitches. 
The hemline seam edge also needs tidying up in parts where the selvedge has frayed a little
We believe these minor issues could easily be rectified.
