Victorian Lace Baby Christening, Baptism Gown

Antique Baby Christening / Baptism Gown.

Dating to the Victorian era.
Having a Princess line frontage decorated with scalloped lace whitework frills and whitework panels separated by rows of pintucks. 
This in turn is bordered on each side by a further whitework frill. 
There is also a narrow lace frill around the neck edge. 
The sleeves have pleated cuffs and there are ties to the gathered neck and waistline. 
Sewn black cotton laundry number just inside the neckline. 
Some of this gown has been handsewn - unsure on the pintucks.

Size:
Chest approx. 18.00"
Length approx 39.50"

Condition:
No major damage.  
There is a tear at the base of the back skirt opening which just needs to be sewn up, 
Short repair on a pintuck seam line and a couple of tiny rust storage marks.
