Antique French Woven Tapestry Panel, 18th Century Salon Scene (Lot #1)

Attractive old French tapestry. 

Reputed to have been brought to the UK in 1919 by a Soldier who had served in the Royal Scots 1916-1919. (name available) There is a signature and date to the left hand corner of the tapestry - believed to read 'Bailly 1791' (?).
Exact age unknown.  

Housed under glass within a gilt edged frame with wooden back. (Framed in Scotland).
