Rare pair of Victorian lined bloomers or pantaloons - presumably for winter use. Linen type material decorated with broderie anglaise and having what appears to be a warm fleece type of lining - you wont be cold in these! Very well made with buttons and cotton tapes to the open sides. There are also two button holes on the back and one on the front band. A deep frilled lace to each leg hem. Believed to date to the mid Victorian era - circa 1860's
These bloomers appear to be unused.
Would make a nice display / practical piece, or authentic period prop for the theatre or reenactments
