Ladies Boudoir Cap-Silk & Lace-Early 20th Century Vintage

Attractive old Boudoir Cap incorporating 4 different lace patterns and a silky material. It is possible that some of the materials used may be handmade and date from an earlier period. 

There is a ribbon rosette close to the front of the cap and evidence that there may once have been a layer of a very narrow silk ribboning, possibly arranged in loops, decorating the front edge of the cap. However, this is now just shredded remains with just a little bit of this very pretty ribbon still to be seen on the rosette.

Dating to the late 19^th / early 20^th Century

Size: Approx. 21" circumference and approx. 9" from the front edge to the centre of the crown

Pre-owned & used antique.
In our opinion this Cap is in very good condition considering its age and material. 
There is a small storage stain close to the crown and approximately three small sections of missing stitches where the narrow lace joins the silk which would be quite easy to rectify if desired. 
The Cap has not been laundered.
