Early 20th Century Handpainted Decorative Jug by Arthur Wood.

Art Deco design with colourful handpainted enamels in flowing strokes.
Dating to circa 1920s - the back-stamp is ‘Arthur Wood’ rather than ‘Arthur Wood & Sons’ which it became in 1928.

Stands approx. 125 mm (5.00") high

Pre-owned antique.
Very good used condition - no chips or hairlines. 
It does have the odd light paint rub commensurate with usage and a small manufacturing fissure on top of the handle (as seen in photos). However, in our opinion this does not spoil this unique and rare Jug.
