Beautiful vintage pierced 925 sterling silver brooch with inset gem stone.
Diamond shape with pierced Art Nouveau design and an oval facet cut red coloured gem stone (Garnet / Almandite?) to centre. 
Stamped '925' to reverse together with an indistinct manufacturer's initial(s). 
Roll-over butterfly catch and pin.
Dating to early 20th Century, circa Edwardian era. 

Size: Overall length approx 5.50 cms (2.25")

Pre-owned and used. Very good / excellent condition.
